Introduction to the Compass Tools (Onsite Workshop)

This event is an onsite Introduction to the Compass Tools workshop hosted by Munich International School (MIS). This workshop will be held on May 22 and is designed for student leaders at the Solutionary Summit to integrate systems thinking tools into their workshops.

 

About the Workshop

This highly interactive workshop will introduce the student leaders and their supporting adult advisors and teachers to the fundamentals of systems thinking and teach them to use the versatile systems thinking tools, The Sustainability Compass and the Systems Iceberg. Participants will leave this workshop with a plan to use systems thinking in their workshops at the Solutionary Summit and engage their youth peers in developing solutions to local problems. This workshops will help student leaders lead conversations and action planning to make a Base 10 Changemakers impact: on 10 people, 100 people, or more!

 

Facilitator

Donny Hansen

Donny Hansen is a husband of one and father of two living in Germany currently. He spent school and college days in the Midwest of the USA between Wisconsin and Iowa. Followed by working in International Schools in the Middle East. He enjoys working to strengthen systems to build a community working toward a common goal of growing global citizenship.
