Compass Education has applied to present at this school year’s SXSW EDU Conference! To get there we need community support since community voting makes up 30% of the decision about whose voice gets to be heard.

SXSW EDU (pronounced South by Southwest E-D-U) is a vibrant and dynamic event that brings together the brightest minds in education to tackle complex issues and drive impact to create a new tomorrow for learners everywhere.

We want to share about the power of Compass Systems Thinking Tools to help teachers and learners feel empowered to tackle complex issues and build a more sustainable world.

How can you use systems thinking to teach for a better world? This workshop, intended for educators of all ages and disciplines, will teach you the fundamentals of system thinking and sustainability. Through collaborative activities, you’ll learn about The Sustainability Compass –  a powerful system thinking tool listed as one of the top 100 innovations in education in the 2024 HundrED Global Collection and chosen as a Teach for the Planet Global Solution. You’ll leave prepared to help your students navigate our complex world plus connected to the global movement for sustainability education.
