Introducción a las herramientas Compass (Taller presencial)

This event is an onsite Introducción a las herramientas de la brújula workshop with a focus on Systems Thinking and Sustainability Mindsets for Exploring Complex Issues hosted by Sage Hill School in California, USA. This workshop will be held on June 25-26 for Sage Hill School staff only.

About the Workshop

This workshop will teach the fundamentals of sustainability and systems thinking to students who want to explore how we can harness these tools and skill sets to build and promote community harmony and well-being. Participants will leave this workshop with new tools and frameworks they can use to discuss complex social and environmental issues with others, plus a deeper understanding of how to work toward thinking systemically about change.

Facilitator

Gitanjali Paul designs and facilitates learning for a more just, sustainable world. From classroom to community work, she specializes in Education for Sustainable Development and making systems change. Gitanjali is the Education Program Manager at nonprofit Compass Education, where she leads program development and a dynamic Global Facilitator Network that trains others on systems thinking tools for sustainability education. Gitanjali is indefatigably inquisitive. She has a B.A. in Peace and Justice Studies from Tufts University, and an M.Ed in Education Policy, Research and Administration from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Gitanjali learns continually from nature, cooking experiments, adventures with family, and her Filipina rescue cat, Mahatma Charlie.
