Central to my teaching is the belief that knowledge becomes the power to do good when combined with accurate information\, intellectual skills\, and compassionate attitudes. As a member of the IHE team and a Solutionary Micro-Credential Program Facilitator\, I guide other educators\, students\, and changemakers to find greater meaning and inspiration in their teaching\, learning\, and lives. I have B.A. degrees in geography and international studies from the University of Oregon and master’s degrees in Middle Eastern Studies and Education from the University of Washington. I have travelled widely\, including a year of study in Syria and Egypt. I now live in Portland\, Oregon where I enjoy home and garden projects\, outdoor activities\, and lots of soccer. \n  \nAbout LearningPlanet Festival\nWe are official partners of the LearningPlanet Festival 2024: 24 – 27 January!
