Create a short video demonstrating this and submit it for a chance to win a $500 scholarship and recognition as a Compass Global Changemaker!  \nWe want to give voice to your amazing work!\nToday\, more than ever before in our history\, we are facing complex global challenges that can appear overwhelming and out of our capacity to affect meaningful change. Yet\, many educators and students are doing important work to incorporate skills of systems thinking for sustainability into their curriculums providing students with the necessary tools for better understanding complex and interconnected global challenges\, finding agency and proposing solutions. The intention of this competition is to give voice to aspiring student changemakers to showcase their thinking\, highlight their agency and promote continued promotion of these important skills. \nThe competition is open to three groups:  \n\nPrimary grades (pre-K through year 6)\nSecondary grades (year 7- 12)\nEducators\n\nAll student submissions must be made through educators who have registered.  See the Compass Challenge web page. \nPRIZES\nStudents and Educator\nGRAND PRIZE\n\n (students) $500 scholarship for winning student entry in each age category\n(educators) $500 scholarship towards PD of their choice\n\nAdditional recognitions and prizes will also be awarded. \nCompetition registration begins May 15.  \nAll entries must be received no later than May 31 @ 11:59 PM (UTC+1). \nWinners will be announced on June 15. \nFor more information and to register for the challenge\, please visit our web page.

The intention of this competition is to give voice to aspiring student change makers to showcase their thinking\, highlight their agency and promote continued promotion of these important skills. \nTo participate in the CHALLENGE\, educators will serve as mentors of the student participants and will be responsible for their submissions. Educators will also be invited to participate independently to showcase their classroom process and experience. All the video testimonials selected will be used by Compass Education to promote this work among schools\, educators and donors.
