DESCRIPTION:This course is a seven-week cohort-based\, (mostly) asynchronous\, facilitator guided course\, using both independent and collaborative learning methods. Participants will explore the concept of sustainability with specific emphasis on the role of education and the use of systems thinking to enhance student learning. Systems thinking tools and methods will be demonstrated and participants will have the opportunity to explore their practical application. Whether you’re running a school or facilitating a conversation in the classroom\, this course is for you! \nDiscounts are available for school cohorts registration of three people and more. DESCRIPTION:How can educators work together towards a sustainable world?\nHow do we inspire students to become agents of positive change? \nHow do we know that we are having an impact and making progress?\nJoin us for a conversation with educators\, parents\, students\, community members and anyone interested in thinking deeply about how educators can collaborate to encourage student agency and hope in these challenging times. \nThe World Cafe method is a structured conversation format that encourages open and thoughtful discussions intended to support communication from multiple perspectives and surface collective wisdom.
