By using these tools, we can uncover systems and mindsets that hinder students from belonging and create opportunities to celebrate diversity and foster acceptance.<\/p>\n<p>Educators will explore how to shape environments where everyone feels valued and included. The interactive session allows participants to share insights, identify common challenges with mental models, and collaboratively explore solutions, providing practical tools to build inclusive, supportive spaces that celebrate differences.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Workshop B &#8211;\u00a0Leading Change for Belonging and Beyond: Systems Thinking to Diffuse Innovation for Inclusion<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Date and Time: March 9, 1:30 &#8211; 2:45 PM<\/p>\n<p>Speaker: Kate O&#8217;Connell<\/p>\n<p><strong>Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The SENIA mission statement includes \u201c\u2026champions inclusion by empowering our global community to connect, learn, and advocate for one another.\u201d and the vision states \u201c\u2026To live in an inclusive world.&#8221; These powerful words remind us of our responsibility as educators to advocate and create inclusive environments where all students can not only be accepted, but celebrated. But how can work towards this lofty goal? It takes making and change and very skilled change makers will do this work.<\/p>\n<p>Inclusion and belonging are ideals that can happen and using systems thinking tools to diffuse innovative practices for belonging and beyond can help us actualize SENIA\u2019s mission. In this session, we will explore how to diffuse innovation so that great belonging and inclusion can come alive and make a positive impact.
