con m\u00e1s de dos d\u00e9cadas de experiencia en Colegios del Mundo del IB, he dedicado gran parte de mi carrera a nutrir las mentes j\u00f3venes. Recientemente, he estado reflexionando sobre uno de los principios b\u00e1sicos que veo incorporados en los programas del IB: &quot;aprender a pensar y pensar para aprender&quot;. Este principio resuena profundamente en m\u00ed y he descubierto que las herramientas desarrolladas por <\/span><strong><a class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-underline text-strikethrough-none\" draggable=\"false\" href=\"https:\/\/compasseducation.org\/es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Br\u00fajula Educaci\u00f3n<\/a><\/strong><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">, como Sustainability Compass y Systems Iceberg, complementan notablemente bien este esp\u00edritu, fortaleciendo el cultivo de habilidades de pensamiento cr\u00edtico.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-start para-style-body\"><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Dos segmentos del <\/span><strong><a class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-underline text-strikethrough-none\" draggable=\"false\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ibo.org\/about-the-ib\/mission\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Declaraci\u00f3n de la misi\u00f3n del IB<\/a><\/strong> <span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">siempre me han inspirado: <\/span><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">\u201c\u2026ayudar a crear un mundo mejor y m\u00e1s pac\u00edfico a trav\u00e9s del entendimiento y el respeto interculturales\u201d.<\/span><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\"> y <\/span><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">\u201c\u2026para convertirse en aprendices activos, compasivos y de por vida que comprendan que otras personas, con sus diferencias, tambi\u00e9n pueden tener raz\u00f3n.\u201d,<\/span><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\"> Organizaci\u00f3n del Bachillerato Internacional, <\/span><a class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-underline text-strikethrough-none\" draggable=\"false\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ibo.org\/about-the-ib\/mission\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.ibo.org\/about-the-ib\/mission\/<\/a><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">. Estas poderosas palabras nos recuerdan nuestra responsabilidad como educadores de guiar a los alumnos para que se conviertan en ciudadanos globales reflexivos, compasivos y de mente abierta.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-start para-style-body\"><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Los programas del IB se esfuerzan por cultivar diversas habilidades de pensamiento, enfatizando la importancia de &quot;aprender a pensar&quot;. Desde el Programa de la Escuela Primaria (PEP) hasta el Programa del Diploma (PD), su marco pedag\u00f3gico fomenta el desarrollo de habilidades para la resoluci\u00f3n de problemas, el an\u00e1lisis cr\u00edtico, la ideaci\u00f3n creativa y la reflexi\u00f3n. En el centro del enfoque del BI se encuentra <\/span><strong><a class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-underline text-strikethrough-none\" draggable=\"false\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ibo.org\/benefits\/learner-profile\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">conjunto de atributos<\/a><\/strong><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\"> guiando el proceso de aprendizaje. Entre ellos se encuentran los &quot;pensadores&quot;, que ejercitan el pensamiento cr\u00edtico y creativo, y el &quot;reflexivo&quot;, que anima a los alumnos a evaluar su propio pensamiento y procesos de aprendizaje.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-start para-style-body\"><a class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-underline text-strikethrough-none\" draggable=\"false\" href=\"https:\/\/compasseducation.org\/es\/the-compass-education-toolkit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Herramientas de educaci\u00f3n de la br\u00fajula<\/strong><\/a><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\"> alinearse perfectamente con el \u00e9nfasis del IB en las habilidades de pensamiento. Sustainability Compass ayuda a los estudiantes a navegar por cuestiones complejas de sostenibilidad enfoc\u00e1ndose en la naturaleza, la econom\u00eda, la sociedad y el bienestar (N, E, S, W), fomentando el pensamiento cr\u00edtico, hol\u00edstico y sist\u00e9mico. La herramienta Systems Iceberg ayuda a los estudiantes a comprender las estructuras y los modelos mentales que subyacen a los eventos observables. Alienta a los estudiantes a &quot;sumergirse profundamente&quot; debajo de la superficie de los problemas para descubrir las causas y relaciones fundamentales, promoviendo el pensamiento cr\u00edtico y sist\u00e9mico. Estas herramientas se pueden integrar en nuestros programas del IB de varias maneras, como se demuestra a trav\u00e9s de las lecciones de este paquete.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-start para-style-body\"><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">En conclusi\u00f3n, los programas del IB y Compass Education enfatizan la importancia de &quot;aprender a pensar&quot; y &quot;pensar para aprender&quot;.
