href=\"https:\/\/compasseducation.org\/es\/compass-education-one-day-workshop\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Introducci\u00f3n a las herramientas Compass: Pensamiento sist\u00e9mico para la sostenibilidad en el aula<\/a> taller en <a href=\"https:\/\/suzhou-high-school.dulwich.org\/zh\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Escuela Secundaria Internacional Dulwich Suzhou<\/a>, China, que se entreg\u00f3 en el transcurso de dos d\u00edas. En preparaci\u00f3n para el taller, compartieron con nosotros sus competencias globales y su plan escolar para avanzar hacia un campus m\u00e1s sostenible. Cindy Chen y yo incorporamos elementos de su plan a las actividades. Un elemento que incorporamos en una actividad de Compass Sort fue su lista de competencias globales. Luego, incorporamos el plan de sustentabilidad de su escuela en la evaluaci\u00f3n de los problemas que ellos mismos seleccionaron. Nos impresion\u00f3 su entusiasmo y motivaci\u00f3n para hacer este taller a pesar de que estuvieron encerrados durante nuestro taller.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Durante nuestra segunda reuni\u00f3n, los grupos tuvieron conversaciones que iban desde la planificaci\u00f3n de un curso de ingl\u00e9s utilizando Systems Iceberg hasta la implementaci\u00f3n de las herramientas en toda la escuela para crear un mayor impacto en el esfuerzo de sostenibilidad de su escuela. Fue refrescante trabajar con un grupo de educadores motivados con un prop\u00f3sito muy claro. Espero escuchar y ver su progreso en el futuro. She is currently a Grade 4\/5 teacher and Sustainability Chair at Dar Essalam American School in Rabat, Morocco. Michelena is passionate about Compass Education and believes that systems thinking is instrumental in encouraging children and educators to take action on global issues. Michelena believes in encouraging children to explore the outdoors as well as creating awareness about the issues that affect our world. Michelena has been working with her students on analyzing the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and creating actions that students can carry out locally, including teaching local children about systems thinking and sustainability. Michelena has a BFA in Photography, a Master\u2019s degree in Gifted and Special Education, and a bilingual education endorsement from the University of New Mexico.
